About Buzphoto.com
Buzphoto is intended to be a portfolio of the works of Daniel Gonzalez. This includes both photography and web design. By nature, this website will be continuously changing as new photography and web technology is added.
About Me
Both Photography and Web Design have been my passion for years. I am currently a student at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona studying Photography and Advertising in the School of Communication.
Photography
Since 2001, I have been a student of photography. I first began in Seattle, Washington at Mount Rainier High School. This is where I first began my black and white photography experience.
When I moved back to Poway, California in 2002, I began learning color photography, digital photography and also began exploring larger formats in film. It was at Poway that I recieved many awards for my photography including,
Best Of Show for Photojournalism - Photo Story at the San Diego County Fair and Second Place for Color Photography at the California State Fair.
After graduating from Poway High School, I left California to begin school at Northern Arizona University. Since then, I've continued to learn more about various aspects of photography. NAU has given the opportunity to explore all types of formats and mediums in photography as well as develop lifelong friends and industry connections.
Web Design
I learned how to develop websites in 1997, while I was still in the 6th grade. It started as a curiosity of what my mom was working on and became the profession which I have lived by since.
Throughout the years I have created many websites and maintained even more. I have recently found my niche in perfecting web site styles and compatibility between browsers.
In my more recent work, I have acted as a Graphic Designer for Design Apps, Inc and as Web Manager for the USDA Forest Service, maintaining the Kaibab National Forest Web Site.
